While browsing the Play Store this morning I came across Wrassling from Kappsule and I’ve been playing it ever since. Following in the grand tradition of terrible yet hilarious graphics, Wrassling is up there with the classic 4D Boxing of yesteryear.
Set in the 8-bit nation of Slamdovia, you play a poorly drawn wrestler and face down another poorly drawn wrestler in the old squared circle. The on-screen controls are simple: just use the arrows to move right, left or jump and use the right arrow to swing your arms and bash your opponent. And watch out for the tag team! Collect hats as achievements too! Also, enjoy the 8-bit theme song. It’s actually pretty catchy!

Bonus Sunday game: While installing Wrassling, I happened upon another glorious 8-bit style game from the same developer namely, Battle Golf. Battle Golf is an artillery style game where the aim is to get your golf ball in the hole while figuring out what trajectory to use and how much power to employ. Play against the computer (AI) or play against a friend. As the description in the Play Store suggests, “Head shots are encouraged”. Enjoy.
