Sifting through numerous games on Itch this morning and came across Party at the Knightclub, which is interesting on a number of levels and one of those being that is was developed using Superpowers HTML – a free and open source tool for creating 2D and 3D games. Superpowers makes collaboration very easy and has an active community on Itch which you should check out.
Created for Ludum Dare 35 by Elisée and friends, Party at the Knightclub is a medieval quest starring you – a curious character with shape shifting abilities. Throughout your quest, you’ll need to solve a number of puzzles if you want to get anywhere. The first puzzle involves getting yourself into the “knightclub ” in question. But how do you get past the bouncer? I think the answer involves the aforementioned shapeshifting ability, so you’ll need to talk to other charcters and press ‘c’ to take over their bodies…if they’re open to that sort of thing.
